Developers: We are sponsoring WeAreDevelopers 2025

On 9, 10 and 11 July we will be actively participating in WeAreDevelopers 2025 in Berlin, the main European forum for the community of developers and technology leaders. We will have a stand where we will show an interactive multi-telco demo so that all those who come to the stand can try it out, and we will participate in different talks.

During the congress we’ll present results-oriented solutions focused on responding to the most relevant challenges in the current-day market: 

1. Reducing fraud and increasing trust: We’ll show how our real-time identity verification solutions integrated into digital processes can enable companies in sectors such as banking, fintech and digital platforms to minimise fraud and reinforce the trust of their users.
2. Optimising the user experience: We’ll share use cases in which, through dynamic traffic prioritisation, intelligent network management guarantees a superior user experience in services such as streaming, gaming and connection-dependent business applications.

One of our inputs will be the technical workshop conducted by Laura Lacarra, Head of Devrel at Telefónica Innovación Digital, titled “Building a new onboarding on your app”. 

During this hands-on session, we’ll explain how to build a new, simpler, faster and more secure registration process for apps.  

• We prevent user abandonment by eliminating long forms and 2FA via SMS.
• We use Network APIs to enable users to register solely with their phone numbers.
• We combat fraud through direct real-time data validation via the network. 

This workshop, in collaboration with other telcos and Vonage, will feature a live coding approach in which attendees will modify the code step by step together with the technical team, bringing the complete solution to the end. 

The goal is to reduce a user's registration experience by 10 seconds while ensuring security. 

Our collaboration with CAMARA, GSMA, Orange and Deutsche Telekom Global will reinforce our vision of a truly global network, these solutions like the registry, work for all telcos with a single implementation. This approach facilitates innovation, will accelerate the creation of scalable and secure digital services, and will multiply business opportunities for our customers.
