May 14th | Block Magic: A Chainlink Hackathon. A day focused on developers with a broad knowledge of blockchain technology and a great ambition to have a massive impact. We were present with a virtual talk by our professionals Patxi Barrios, Web3 Product Manager, and Maria Teresa Galán, Developer Relations Manager of Telefónica Open Gateway. In this way, attendees were able to discover the innovation projects we are working on.

May 17th | The Product Conf Madrid 2024. An event dedicated to the digital product in Spain, which unveils for the fifth consecutive year the latest trends in Artificial Intelligence, Development and Cybersecurity. Irene Bernal, our Telco Services Strategy and Design Director, was present at a panel discussion to explain the positive impact of network openness on the productisation of services in large enterprises.

21 May | SAP BTP Innovation Day. A conference aimed at IT enthusiasts, financial management and innovative companies, who are committed to change. Alberto Torrón, Head of Business Development at Telefónica Open Gateway, has participated in the round table ‘Technology Platform: Key lever for AI operationalisation and innovation’, to give an overview of the global multi-telco initiative.

May 21st-22nd | Codemotion Conference Madrid 2024. Known as the most important tech conference in Europe, this meeting brought together the most relevant leaders in the sector to share the next steps of the technological future. Laura Lacarra, Head of Devrel at Telefónica Open Gateway, shared the advantages offered by this multi-telecoms initiative, how they work together on common standards, as well as the importance of Telefónica Open Gateway and the progress of the project.
  
May 21st-23th | Microsoft Build.This meeting organised by Microsoft will take place one more year in Seattle, with a focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the future of society and the latest tools to design more powerful digital services or boost new business opportunities. We took part in this new edition of the great event of the technological panorama, with the presence of our Global Project Manager at a round table with the GSMA, Microsoft and Deutsche Telekom; where he discussed the project's potential and possible use cases.

28 May | The Network Summit 2024. An event to present the opportunities for platform-based business models to drive growth through the power of networks and collaboration. Irene Bernal, our Telco Services Design & Strategy Director, participated in the multi-telco panel ‘Bringing Value through Open Collaboration’, to offer her vision on the benefits of open networks.

June 4th-7th | TOA: Berlin's technology event 2024. For four days, Berlin became a hub for tech founders, investors and industry leaders. Throughout the first week of June, advanced technologies were explored to shape a better future: Climate Tech, Health Tech, Web3, Artificial Intelligence... Our great experts Chema Alonso, Nicole Nehaus-Laug, Martin Schurig and Laura Lacarra, were in charge of showing all the attendees the potential of our solutions for the entire digital ecosystem.

June 5th | AWS Summit Madrid 2024. This is the largest AWS cloud event in Spain, bringing together technology enthusiasts and executives from diverse industries to explore how AWS can help them innovate. Carlos Carazo, CTO of Telefónica Tech, shared how they use AWS edge computing infrastructure and services, combined with private 5G networks, in their new ‘5G Industrial Edge’ solution. In addition, our experts from Telefónica Open Gateway could be found at their booth to address the possibilities of network openness.

June 11th | Microsoft Envision AI Connection. It is Microsoft's most important meeting, focused on how to maximize the potential of AI and the Cloud. Chema Alonso, our Chief Digital Officer at Telefónica, was at his ISVs & Startup Venture Hub, to discover the future of innovation and the impact of Artificial Intelligence for hackers and developers?

June 13th | OpenExpo Europe 2024. With the arrival of summer, the 11th edition of OpenExpo Europe landed, under the slogan "The Power of GenAI: Tomorrow's Tech Revolution Today! This leading European event offered a vision of the future in the present. It highlighted the role of Artificial Intelligence, especially Generative AI, in the world of innovation. Among the keynote speakers at this event was our Chief Digital Officer Chema Alonso, providing his vision on the technological advances and opportunities offered by AI.

June 12-14th | Fortinet Fast & Secure 2024. A two-day meeting in Prague to uncover how to be part of the redefinition of Cybersecurity, through the strategic integration of AI and automation. Our experts from Telefónica Open Gateway have been telling a talk about the contributions we make from the initiative.

June 15th | Lechazo Conf 2024. This meeting brings together professionals from the fields of entrepreneurship, technology, business and startups in an environment conducive to the exchange of ideas and experiences. Laura Lacarra was our speaker at the Lechazo Conf event, which took place in mid-June in Valladolid.  

June 18th-20th | DTW24-Ignite. It returned for another year to the Bella Centre in Copenhagen to present a journey into native AI for the future, from design to delivery. It was an opportunity to learn how to unleash the power of AI for transformative innovation and unlock the superpowers of composable IT. Our experts from Telefónica Open Gateway were talking about the APIs of the global multi-telco initiative as a breakthrough for application development and new releases in the Google Cloud.

20-21 June | Telefónica Fest. Organised by the company's Innovation and Talent Hub, the doors of our facilities in Madrid will be open from 20-21 June to offer a unique experience and showcase the technology we develop at Telefónica. Our experts from Telefónica Open Gateway joined this encounter to present our cutting-edge solutions, with live demos that will show the potential of our APIs in the drone ecosystem and immersive sporting events.

21 and 22 June | OpenSouthCode 2024. An event that has been held since 2016, to learn and further explore open technologies. Laura Lacarra gave a session to show what can be done with Open Gateway's standardised APIs and how to integrate them to add advanced network functionalities.

25 June | dotNET 2024. This meeting for developers returned once again this year for its seventh edition. It allowed us to discover the latest in development, with the help of the best professionals in the sector. Among them was the Telefónica Open Gateway team, who gave a tour of how the project facilitates the creation of more powerful digital experiences in an easier way.

June 25-27th | Febraban Tech 2024. It is one of the largest technology and innovation events in the financial sector. In 2024 it celebrated its 34th edition, under the central theme "Responsible travel in the new AI Economy". Telefónica Open Gateway is joining Febraban Tech 2024 to present the different solutions we offer to this sector.
