Telefónica Fest 2024
Our Open Gateway experts join this meeting in our facilities in Madrid, to show and enjoy the latest in technology.
Telefónica Fest is one of the major events of 2024. Organised by the company's Innovation and Talent Hub, the doors of our facilities in Madrid were opened from 20 to 21 June to offer a one-of-a-kind experience and showcase the technology we develop at Telefónica.
With a wide range of activities, such as hackathons, technological challenges and live demos, it was an event full of learning and fun for all attendees. Likewise, there were talks from technology partners such as Meta and Xiaomi, who talked about their cutting-edge solutions. And of course, there was live music and a wide range of varied leisure activities to complete the experience.
Moreover, this event coincided with the company's centenary year, making it even more special. We have been bringing technology closer to people for 100 years, but we also look to the future to keep moving forward. That's why our experts at Telefónica Open Gateway joined this event to present our cutting-edge solutions, with live demos that showed the potential of our APIs in the drone ecosystem and immersive sporting events. A NEW GENERATION OF SPORTS EVENTS. If you like the world of sport, this demo was made for you. And if not, probably too. You will be able to travel to the last final of the ACB Copa del Rey, in an immersive experience with better quality of service thanks to our Telefónica Open Gateway APIs.

FLYING HIGH WITH OPEN GATEWAY. In this drone demo, you could see the recording of a drone flight and learn first-hand how our network APIs are revolutionising the drone ecosystem, facilitating more accurate, safer and more efficiently routed flights.
